Yung Sook Park

She is a Korean-American artist residing in the United States. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in fine arts in Korea before immigrating to the United States with her family. Since then, She has been actively involved in both the American and Korean art scenes, constantly moving between the two countries. Park´s works can be broadly categorised into two series: one embodying impressionistic elements and the other featuring abstract elements. Through her artistic expressions, she aims to convey the beautiful memories obtained through travel and the hope that encompasses everyone.

For nine years, she served as an instructor in the Continuing Education program at the University of New Mexico. Currently, she operates a gallery in Atlanta, Georgia, and also teaches at an art centre.
